DeWayne Taylor is a 2016 graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Broadcasting. Currently, he is the on-air personality for Lincoln's Hit Music 106.3 KFRX. Additionally, he is a In-Arena Host for Nebraska men's basketball games at Pinnacle Bank Arena and he's the Social Spotlight Host for Fox Sports.

Taylor has been working for KFRX for a little over four years now and hasn't stopped loving it. Taylor got his job at KFRX in a very unique way. Listen below to hear how.
In 2009, Taylor started to beatbox and his passion for it has grown non-stop. In 2014, he would eventually find out beatboxing would help land him his first ever internship and then a TED talk.

The TED Talk helped Taylor grow as a public speaker and helped him later in his broadcasting career. Listen below to hear how it helped him.
Before getting involved in broadcasting, though, the Lincoln native wanted to be in graphic design and loved cartoons. Taylor, on the other hand, was recruited to the university for being on the speech team so he went the communications route. Listen below to hear how Taylor became a Husker in 2012.
He found the communication major was not as active as he wanted it to be. He wanted more performance-based communication, so he decided to change majors from communication to broadcasting.
Despite not majoring in a field related with graphic design, Taylor still dabbles with it today. Today, he uses his graphic design skills mainly with his company called "D-Wayne" to attract more clients/customers.
